Lighthouse at the Old Venetian Port in Chania

It was a chilly evening tonight.
This did not stop this Chanianian from taking his evening promenade down at the Venetian Port. I must admit, though, that the newly renovated lighthouse was somewhat of a disappointment to me. Ok, I know that it was standing there for hundreds of years and it was ready to topple over, but one would think that it would be fixed to look like its original self. Instead... it gave me the impression that it was made out of plastic. Now, they could still be working on it. I really hope so, cause it really needs a stone surface. I want the new lighthouse to remind me of the old one I so adored all these years on this planet.
Nevertheless, it did grace yet again that wonderful port in the night.
Enjoy!
